These terms govern your use of our website and the plumbing services provided by Ergon Plumbingacross Connecticut.
Ergon Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services throughout Connecticut, including diagnostics, repairs, replacements, maintenance, and emergency response. All services are subject to technician availability, site conditions, and applicable code requirements.
Any estimate, recommendation, or quoted timeline is based on information available at the time of inspection and may change if concealed conditions, code deficiencies, access issues, or customer-requested changes are discovered.
Appointments are scheduled in service windows rather than exact arrival times unless otherwise confirmed in writing. Emergency calls are prioritized based on severity, technician availability, weather, traffic, and active dispatch volume.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as early as possible. Missed appointments, inaccessible properties, or late cancellations may be subject to a trip charge or diagnostic fee where permitted by law and disclosed in advance.
Quoted pricing generally covers the work specifically described in the estimate or invoice. Additional work requested after approval, or work made necessary by hidden conditions, may require revised pricing before completion.
Customer approval may be provided verbally, electronically, by signed estimate, or through payment authorization depending on the nature of the job.
Payment is due upon completion unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Deposits may be required for special-order materials, large installations, or reserved project scheduling.
We may accept credit cards, financing, ACH, or other approved payment methods. Late balances may accrue collection costs, interest, or attorney fees to the extent allowed by Connecticut law.
Workmanship warranties, if offered, apply only to the specific services identified on your invoice and are subject to normal use, routine maintenance, manufacturer requirements, and prompt notice of any issue.
Manufacturer warranties on fixtures, water heaters, pumps, or other products are limited to the manufacturer terms. Our warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, freezing, lack of maintenance, pre-existing system defects, or work performed by others after our service visit.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ergon Plumbing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, business interruption, mold, water damage progression, or delays caused by supplier shortages, weather, or inaccessible site conditions.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a service visit is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where a greater limitation is prohibited by law.
You are responsible for providing safe access to the property, accurate information about the issue, and disclosure of known hazards or prior plumbing conditions. You are also responsible for securing pets, valuables, and restricted access areas before our arrival.
If third-party permits, inspections, HOA approvals, or utility coordination are required, timing may depend on those outside entities.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Connecticut, unless another dispute resolution method is required by a separate written agreement.
